In January 2006, we undertook the task of remodeling Emily's Grandparents'
former home. The house was originally constructed in 1871 and has been
rented out since Bud and Roletta moved to town in 1998.

The South part of the North Upstairs room- will become an upstairs bathroom (toilet & sink)
This will become two closets- one for the north room, and one for the SW room once a door is cut in.
From the hallway looking north- note we "moved" the doorway to the left and made a hallway into the room
We ended up taking off all plaster in the living room and will put up dryway over the lathe
Framing for the closet in the SE bedroom- two bi-fold doors will go on the front.
The entire basement was tuckpointed and will be sealed
We opened up the stairway by taking out the doorframe and the framing up to the ceiling
We replaced the rotten pillars with floor jacks, and raised the "dip" in the floor 1.25" to mostly level
